Moorestown School of Music is a growing Suzuki music school currently offering music lessons in piano, cello and violin, and is expanding to other instruments. Moorestown is a well-educated, historic community in southern New Jersey located 20 minutes by car from Center City Philadelphia, 40 minutes from Princeton and Wilmington. Many more students than qualified teachers in the area. Money Magazine recently named Moorestown the best place to live in the USA for 2005!

Suzuki Positions

Suzuki Guitar Teacher	Looking for individuals to start programs in any of these instruments
Suzuki Recorder Teacher

Suzuki Piano Teacher
Suzuki Violin Teacher

Duties. Teaching private lessons to children and adults and group lessons to children. Attend and help organize recitals and other events. Work cooperatively with the faculty.

Training Support Available. Moorestown School of Music provides stipends for Suzukie Institute training. Contact the Executive Director for more information.

Suzuki Instrument Teachers

Qualifications for all Suzuki Teachers: Successful candidates will have a positive attitude. Enthusiasm! Love and respect for children. Strong commitment to the Suzuki philosophy. Registered teacher training (minimum old IA and IB or new Every Child Can and Book 1) with the SAA or equivalent. Ability to work with students, parents and other teachers. Bachelor of Arts and/or Music Degree(s) preferred. Commitment to attend one Suzuki teacher training class per year, at least through Book IV, partially subsidized by Moorestown School of Music.

Salary. Rate depends on experience and education. Income depends on the number of hours taught during the week. Excellent growth potential.

Volunteer Receptionist. Volunteers wanted for 2-3 hours in the afternoon one or more days per week to answer phone and greet students.
